our Story
NC Equipment Ltd., a leading heavy equipment rental house and dealership in Western Canada, has developed into a successful family run business over six decades.
The family behind the company has a long history of ‘moving the earth’, building roads in Alberta and Saskatchewan since the 1950’s. In 1989 with a move from Sask to Ab, the evolution of NC rentals began. Located near Nisku, NC Rentals offered a diversified line of Caterpillar equipment to western Canadian contractors. By 1997, NC Equipment Ltd. existed as a rental house offering crawlers, graders, compaction equipment, motor scrapers and loaders, as well as delivery to the customer’s jobsite.
Along with its commitment to Caterpillar equipment, NC saw great value in the Dynapac compaction line of equipment which they had incorporated into their fleet since 1980. This positive relationship led to NC Equipment becoming the Dynapac dealer for northern Alberta in 2017. In the summer of 2018, NC introduced the MF2500CS mobile feeder to the North American market. Today NC offers not only rentals to the busy western market, but a full parts and service shop for both its Dynapac and WRT compaction lines of equipment. As of 2019, NC has expanded to becoming Northern British Columbia's Dynapac Dealer.
NC Equipment Ltd continues to be family run, with three generations of family on the job daily.
